JOKES

Attending a wedding for the first time, a little girl whispered to her mother,

'Why is the bride dressed in white?''

The mother replied, 'because white is the color of happiness, and today is the happiest day of her life.'

The child thought about this for a moment then said, 'So why is the groom wearing black?'

~~~~~~~~~~~~
A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, 'Dear Lord, please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!'
While she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress.
She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again!
As she ran she once again began to pray, 'Dear Lord, please don't let me be late...But please don't shove me either!'
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Three boys are in the school yard bragging about their fathers. The first boy says, 'My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a poem, they give him

$50..'

The second boy says,

'That's nothing. My Dad scribbles a few words on piece of paper, he calls it a song, they give him $100.'

The third boy says, 'I got you both beat. My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a sermon, and it takes eight people to collect all the money!'

~~~~~~~~~~~~
An elderly woman died last month. Having never married , she requested no male pallbearers. In her handwritten instructions for her memorial service, she wrote, 'They wouldn't take me out while I was alive, I don't want them to take me out when I'm dead.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~

A police recruit was asked during the exam, 'What would you do if you had to arrest your own mother?'

He answered, 'Call for backup.'

~~~~~~~~~~~~
A Sunday School teacher asked her class why Joseph and Mary took Jesus with them to Jerusalem.
A small child replied, 'They couldn't get a baby-sitter. '
~~~~~~~~~~~~

A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five

and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to 'Honor thy father and thy mother,' she asked, 'Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?'

Without missing a beat, one little boy answered, 'Thou shall not kill.'

~~~~~~~~~~~~
At Sunday School they were teaching how God created everything, including human
beings. Little Johnny seemed especially intent when they told him how Eve was created out of one of Adam's ribs.
Later in the week his mother noticed him lying down as though he were ill, and she said, 'Johnny, what is the matter?'
Little Johnny responded, 'I have pain in my side.. I think I'm going to have a wife.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Two boys were walking home from Sunday school after hearing a strong preaching on the devil. One said to the other, 'What do you think about all this Satan stuff?'

The other boy replied, 'Well, you know how Santa Claus turned out. It's probably just your Dad.'

You don't stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop

laughing! Take heed and pass these along to people who need a laugh.

Media Industry in India

Indian Funny Media

“Paid News”
"Corruption in the Indian media"

I'l be 20 this October.. but I still dont understand Indian Media.And according to me they don't understand there role in society  :p
This is Breaking news. OH God!

News reports that are printed in publications or broadcast on television channels are meant to provide information that is not only of interest to the public at large but information that is supposed to be truthful or factually correct and at the same time, balanced, objective, fair and neutral.
I think they are more concerned about there TRP's
Here, more important is commissioner's dog not the kidnapped children

Corruption in the mass media in India  is as old as the media itself.If there is corruption in society, it would be unrealistic to expect the media to be free of corruption. India is the world’s largest democracy. A diverse mass media is an important pillar of democracy in this country.A widespread problem is the attempt to influence public debate through the purchase of advertising space and the purchase of favourable editorial comment.
I am just writing what i am feeling.Media is interested in their own interests rather than really giving facts to public !!!!!

I think newspapers and television channels receive funds for publishing or broadcasting information in favour of particular individuals, corporate entities, representatives of political parties and candidates contesting elections, that is sought to be disguised as “NEWS”.

So every time you are reading a news paper, beware, that is what the news group want to happen, but not what is good for people.

Every time you are watching a news bulletin , they might be aiming at publicity instead of bringing the facts before you !!
Please leave your valuable comments or suggestions
Sorry for any grammatical and language errors.
I think that'll be all for now.Don't forget to follow and bookmark this blog(CTRL +D) [if not already :(  ] so you could come back for more on my writings! So stay Tuned !!!!

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY
Some Interesting Facts

* The Indian flag was hoisted on the highest mountain peak of the world, Mount Everest on 29th May 1953.

* Madam Bhikaji Rustom Cama was the first person to hoist Indian flag on foreign soil on 22nd August 1907 in Stuttgrat, Germany.

* The Indian National Flag flew to space in 1984 when Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma went to the space. The flag was attached as a medallion on the space suit of Rakesh Sharma.

According to flag code of India citizens of India did not had the right to hoist the Indian flag except for some important days like Republic day, Independence day and Mahatma Gandhi's birthday. A renowned industrialist Naveen Jindal challenged this in the court as when he hoisted the flag on his office building he was told not to do so as it may be taken as a breach of code of Indian flag. Then he lodged a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) in the court now the decision of the court is pending in this regard but a temporary permission has been granted to Indian citizens to hoist the flag on any day but in a respectable manner..

So True....

Sometimes I read the same books over and over and over. What’s great about books is that the stuff inside doesn’t change. People say you can’t judge a book by its cover but that’s not true because it says right on the cover what’s inside. And no matter how many times you read that book the words and pictures don’t change. You can open and close books a million times and they stay the same. They look the same. They say the same words. The charts and pictures are the same colors. Books are not like people. Books are safe.

My View's On People's Ombudsman Bill

Here are some facts

1. Who is Anna Hazare?

An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War

2. What's so special about him?

He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra

3. So what?

This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in
the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills.

In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the
richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained,
eco-friendly & harmonic village.

4. Ok,...?

This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure
for his social activities.

5. Really, what is he fighting for?

He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in
India.

6. How that can be possible?

He is advocating for a Bil, The Lok Pal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman
Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians
(ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.

8. It's an entirely new thing right..?

In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan.
Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying
to change the bill to suit thier theft (corruption).

7. Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a
Bill ! How can that be possible in such a short span of time?

The first thing he is asking for is: the government should come forward
and announce that the bill is going to be passed.

Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the LOK PAL BILL. 50%
goverment participation and 50% public participation. Because you cant
trust the government entirely for making such a bill which does not suit
them.

8. Fine, What will happen when this bill is passed?

A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous
charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every
state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged
party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the
guilty will be punished. Not like, Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy
case, that has been going for last 25 years without any result.

9. Is he alone? Whoelse is there in the fight with Anna Hazare?

Baba Ramdev, Ex. IPS Kiran Bedi, Social Activist Swami Agnivesh, RTI
activist Arvind Kejriwal and many more.

Prominent personalities like Aamir Khan is supporting his cause.

10. Ok, got it. What can I do?

At least we can spread the message. How?

 Sharing this Post ,message, links, video, changing profile pics.

At least we can support Anna Hazare and the cause for uprooting
corruption from India.

At least we can hope that his Hunger Strike does not go in vain.

ALSO...

The Jan Lokpal Bill calls for the merger of all existing anti-corruption bodies like the CVC, departmental vigilance and anti-corruption branch of the CBI into the Lokpal.
This would amount to immense concentration of power in just one institution, which on the face of it, does not guarantee incorruptibility.
The Jan Lokpal will have complete powers to initiate investigations suo motu in any case. It will be able to register FIRs, proceed with criminal investigation and prosecute any officer, judge or politician.
This could dangerously weaken authority of other institutions of accountability in a democracy.
The proposed People's Ombudsman Bill even gives directives to the Supreme Court on how to handle petitions related to the Lokpal.
This would require several constitutional amendments and could compromise judicial independence.
More importantly, the Jan Lokpal could not only look into corruption, but also probe wasteful expenditure.
This will dilute the law-making powers of the legislature and rob the democratically-elected governments of all policy initiatives.

I Request to you please Share this Post, who want corruption free INDIA and become a part of this movement.

                                      JAGO BHARAT JAGO

And this is not possible by Sipping "TATA TEA" hahaha....

So I will be there on 16 August..to support ANNA HAZARE ... Will you??????????????????????
